what do you want to talk about?

it's definitely been a while, there's been a lot to talk about, as well as, nothing to talk about. pick a topic::books i'm reading (have 4 that i'm at various stages in), getting the craft area and my area of the office organized (finally!), finishing a sweater, having a fan-tabulous lunch with the girls, playing with make-up at the bobby brown counter with mary, sara and katie, not having a tree this year, slowly making my way through the winter myster shawl from 2008, christmas eve dinner and christmas day brunch, silly christmas movies, mimosas, watching good morning america today and thinking about katie in nyc, baking far fewer cookies this year, making homemade marshmallows for the first time, the new sherlock holmes movie, spending time with friends and family, looking forward to visiting with the roswell crew on saturday, buying and drinking wine, shopping for necessary undergarments, new tank tops from ann taylor, sending and receiving christmas cards, being finished with shopping and wrapping several days ahead, wonderful christmas music at church, christmas eve service, mine and steve's first date 20 years ago today, worrying about pj driving to and from work, reading blogs, being inspired by a new brunch cookbook, getting the binding fixed on an old one, time off from work-wishing there was MORE time off from work, future knitting projects, finishign the 4 i have on the needles, how great a new bra feels, thinking about charity knitting, writing thank you notes, doing some good towards complete strangers in 2010, using up a good chunk of my yarn and fabric stash, making a duct tape dummy of myself, trying to get rid of all the leftovers in the fridge and freezer:: have i left anything else. happy new year everyone and may you all have a prosperous 2010.

C is for . . .

caramels, champagne and christmas cards. 3 things i'm into RIGHT NOW. decided to take jasmine & gigi's advise and NOT save the good stuff for when the pope arrives. enjoying a bottle of bubbly in a crystal champagne flute, caramels and finishing the last few cards i'll be sending out. christmas is going to be much more low key around here than in the past. am looking forward to some cheesy movies and knitting.
