farm fresh.

a couple guys i work with have enough property to allow them chickens and a vegetable garden. i have been looking forward to these fresh eggs for a while. one of them is slightly blue/green in color. i think they are so pretty. my first egg dish will be egg salad for the kentucky derby. i've decided to celebrate the derby and cinco de mayo on saturday. hopefully i'll remember to take a few photos in between mint juleps and margaritas! i hear farm fresh eggs taste a lot better than what you get in the store-i'll let you know. . .
