i'm a joiner.

yes, i confess, i'm a joiner: quilt clubs, knitting groups, knit alongs, sockalongs, good reads, facebook, ravelry, yarn clubs, etc. now to add to the list, i've joined a fruit & veggie co-op. when kathy emailed me about a local group that'd be delivering to the preschool where she teaches (at our church) i was very interested. due to my work schedule i haven't been able to take advantage of the local farmer market groups. here is my first delivery-green beans, squash, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, peaches, bananas, onions, apples and a canteloupe. not only am i excited about the fresh produce, the great deal, the free delivery, BUT this is also through the winter months AND our preschool gets a $1 back for every basket delivered-awesome. can't wait to try some of this out over the next few days. hi, my name is lydia, and i'm a joiner.

being a joiner is a good thing when it gets you yummy fruits and veggies! that basket is beautiful (and even better it helps out the preschool!)

I'm so jealous! We used to have an organic farmer near us but he moved to Florida. Enjoy your produce!
